Coach Carter - 7 A good enough movie. I liked it, but it didn't seem like it stood out.
Deuce Bigolow European Gigolo - 5.5 Not as good as the first. It still had some good dumb humor in it, but I can't say I endorse it.

Firefly (the series) - A solid 8.5 This is one of the most innovative series I have seen. The sci-fi meets the west meets Chinese is awesome. It doesn't get down and dirty with a whole bunch of specs of how things might be possible. Plus one of the better elements is that there is no sound in space because there really is no sound in space. Thats right people, every time you heard laser fire or explosions in Star Wars in space, they were wrong. But maybe this isn't the best way to explain why I give it an 8.5. Firefly has an excellent story to it. Throughout the series Joss Wehdon impliments more and more development of every character. It is a shame that the series was cancelled but it was Foxes own fault for putting it in a bad time slot.
Anyway the reason I watched this series is because my brother recommended it and the upcoming movie Serenity is a sequal to this series. Plus there is a three part comic book series connecting the series to the movie which I am going to go by tomorrow.
